1. Can an overseas merchant accept payments from Indian customers without an Indian entity?
Yes, eligible overseas merchants can accept payments from Indian customers through Pine Labs PA-CB Import Payments without setting up a local Indian entity, subject to onboarding, business eligibility, regulatory checks, and AD bank requirements.
2. Will the Indian customer pay in INR?
Yes, the customer will be shown amount in INR and payment will be collected in INR.
3. Where will the merchant receive settlement?
The overseas merchant receives settlement into its approved foreign bank account after successful payment processing, compliance checks, and AD bank settlement processing.
4. Is there a transaction limit?
Yes. RBI’s 2025 PA Directions state that for inward or outward transactions processed by a PA-CB, the maximum value per transaction is ₹25 lakh. Reserve Bank of India
