Integrate with Pine Labs Online to enable international payments for your customers. With Dynamic currency conversion [DCC] enabled, you can now start accepting payments from foreign-issued cards on your platform.

Product Features

1. Checkout Flow

• The Pine Labs Online Checkout supports seamless, hosted, and express flows. During checkout, customers are prompted to enter their card details.
• After initiating the payment, customers are redirected to the DCC (Dynamic Currency Conversion) Checkout, where they can choose to pay in the currency their card was issued in.
• On the DCC Checkout page, the pin_code is required only for cards issued in the USA, UK, and Canada.
• Please note that this flow applies a currency conversion markup to the transaction, as agreed during your onboarding.
• Once the customer selects their preferred currency, they proceed to the authentication page. Upon completing the payment, your customers are redirected to the merchant’s redirect URL, provided in the API request parameter.
• International payments are supported for both Debit and Credit cards issued by Mastercard and Visa.

2. FRM (Fraud & Risk Management)

• We collect risk_validation_details and device_info objects, which are mandatory in the Create Payment request. These details are required to send payment information to the risk engine for risk evaluation. If either object is missing, the API will return a 422 error. To avoid this, ensure both objects are always included in the request.
• If the risk engine detects a high threat on the transaction initiated, they stop the payment from going through, with an appropriate error code in response. The benefit of this FRM system is enhanced security by preventing fraudulent transactions. By analyzing end-user details, the system detects potential threats in real time and blocks risky payments, reducing fraud and protecting both merchants and customers.

• RRN and Auth code for the transaction initiated on merchant’s platform will be sent to the merchant with consolidated MPR in t+1 days.
• You can use our Seamless or Pine Labs Online Hosted Checkout to initiate a international transaction. Currently, we support international payments for card payment method.
